FREEBIE - "Toad-ally Insane" Card Front

I found this graphic on the web - I have no idea where it came from... and if the artist ever wants me to remove this card, I most certainly will - but it made for the funniest "sympathy" card for my over-stressed Mommy-friends!

This is the finished card:

If you want to make your own, you can download the merged card front in .png format along with the .psp file with layers you can adjust, and the matted toad picture. You can print out the finished front and attach it to your card - OR - you can get fancy with the .pspimage and adjust the elements together for your own card.

The green ribbon was a blog freebie; I wish I had created it, but I haven't learned that yet! :)

Hope you can find a friend who will enjoy this card!

FREEBIE TEMPLATE - 6-box Card Front

In the style of the Boy and Girl Baby Cards posted earlier, here is a template you can use to make your own 6-Box Cards! Follow this link to the .zip file which contains the template in .png format, .pspimage format, and .psd format.

To Use:
Open your graphics program (Photoshop, PSP, etc.).

Open a background. Copy it. Use your magic wand to select the dark gray card background. Paste into selection.

Open 3-6 images to use for the square boxes. Use your magic wand to select a box. Copy/Paste in the image, tube, dingbat, whatever that you want into each box. Repeat with the other boxes.

In the .pspimage and .psd formats, you should be able to resize the boxes or the bottom rectangle as needed. You can add text or patterns, drop shadows, or other embellishments.

Export as a .jpg file. Print off and affix to the front of your card (A folded half-sheet of 8.5"x11" cardstock) Viola! You've got a great card to send to someone!

A similar idea using only 4 boxes (a card made with paper - not digital - but you get the idea!):

TERMS OF USE:
This template is ©MagsGraphics. It may not be sold or redistributed. Please send your friends to my blog for downloading. What YOU make with this template is YOURS to do with what you want! Enjoy!

FREEBIE: Welcome Baby Card Fronts

I made these Welcome Baby cards - 6 squares use baby dings from a dingbat font! The finished card looks like this:

I actually printed it out twice and cut out 3 of the squares. Then I adhered them with pop-dots on top of their matches on the card front - give it some dimension! Entire card front was stuck to a piece of folded cardstock - they really turned out nice!

Click on each preview to view the cards full-size. Then right-click and save to your computer.

If you choose to save them, please leave some LOVE in the comments section!!!

Google Me!... or Google YOU! :)

Have you ever Googled yourself? I do, periodically, just to see what comes up... usually the first few pages of "magsgraphics" are bits and pieces of me scattered around cyberspace, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that someone referenced one of my hand-made cards on their own blog!!

The card I made and posted on Split Coast Stampers is this:

And this lovely blogger used it to make her own version here: http://dragonflyjourneys.blogspot.com/ - post from Friday, April 25, 2008

Now how neat is that?!?! I was just totally tickled to see that someone liked something I made well enough to mention me!! Way to make my day! :)

I LOVE THE INTERNET!!!

FREEBIE - "No Stalling!" - Toilet Birthday Card

GinaK Designs creates some too-funny bathroom stamps - I was inspired by a card I saw on SplitCoastStampers and created my own digi-version... Preview shows what the inside says as well on that diagonal strip:

Outside says "There's no stalling..."

Inside says "It's your birthday! Have some good clean fun!"
Zip file includes the merged card front (.jpg) and the separate inside piece. Just print off and add to blue or green cardstock, and you've got one funny birthday card!

FREEBIE - 2nd Mother's Day Card Front & Elements

Another fun set of card elements for a Mother's Day Card! Final card will make this:

Link: http://www.4shared.com/file/46802263/3cedd101/MotherFlowerCard_MAG.html

Inside the .zip file, you will find the full-size finished card front (that you can print and just adhere to folded cardstock) as well as the individual elements if you want to piece together your own card.

I created the card - but did NOT create the original word art, ribbon, nor the flower matte - therefore, this card is for personal use only. Original word art is a Hodge Podge freebie from Digital Candy. The flower matte is a random graphic found on a web search. Ribbon re-colorized, but was a blog-freebie.

If you choose to download, please leave a message either here or on 4shared! - I appreciate it!
Happy Scrappin'!

FREEBIE - Mother's Day Word Art and Digi-Card Elements!

Mother's Day is this weekend, and I've made some elements for a digi-card you can do yourself!

The quote says

"All that I am... All that I hope to be... I owe to my MOTHER."

In the zip file, you'll get full-size .png and .jpg files:

• The above image with the spurce green background (actual size is 4.25"x5.5")
• The above merged image with no green background
• The individual floral backgroud,
• 2 word art squares (with slightly different-colored borders),
• the pink ribbon (this I did NOT make - it was a freebie from Hanazana - and it goes so well!)

You can take the easy way and just print the merged image and adhere to your card front, or you can create your own with the individual elements!

These card elements are for personal use only - this also matches the TOU from Hanazana.

If you choose to download the files - please leave a comment either here or on 4shared!

Create You Own Rose Sympathy Card - FREEBIE

Well, sadly enough, I've had to make about 7 sympathy cards this week! Old people, beware, because the grandparentals are dropping over like flies!

I found these beautiful cards on SplitCoasterStampers, but I did not have the floral background stamp used nor the sympathy saying, so I created a rose background in PSP as well as a set of 2.5" square sympathy sayings. I printed them out and affixed them with a ribbon to the front of a 4.25x5.5" card:

The elements I made are available as FREEBIES to you:

You can download a .zip file of all of the colorized backgrounds AND sympathy sayings HERE.

PLEASE leave a comment at 4Shared or here if you choose to download the items... Remember these are for personal (not-for-sale) use only!
