General Terms of Use Adjusted... Please Read! :)

I have been rethinking my general terms of use for my creations. The new terms are outlined below and pertain to the items on this blog and on my website & store:

1. All original images are ©MagsGraphics; they may not be resold, transferred, given away, bartered, or traded.

2. WHAT YOU MAKE with a MagsGraphics digital image is YOURS to do with what you want: Scrap For Hire, Scrap For Others, Projects, Teacher Materials, etc.

3. Credits appreciated... not required. If possible, including the name "MagsGraphics" in your credits just makes my day. Even better is if you include a link to my blog at http://magsgraphics.blogspot.com/! :)

PLEASE NOTE: Some items on this blog are offered for PERSONAL USE only (and the specific post will reflect that) because that particular item was not 100% created by me or follows a tutorial where only personal use is allowed, so I cannot claim sole copyright. Thanks for understanding!

FREEBIE - Balloon Frenzy Set by MagsGraphics

I've made balloons from scratch before, but I was trying out a new tutorial. Here is a set of freebie balloons made using this tut. Per the tutorial-author's TOU, I cannot give CU permission so you'll have to be content with it as a personal use item.

FREEBIE - BOWbalicious Set by MagsGraphics

I've been looking and looking for a good tutorial to make bows and one showed up in my favorite PSP/Incredimail group for this month's tutorials! These are the bows I made tonight - they are time-consuming, but you eventually get the rhythm of using the selections saved in the alpha channel! Father's Day Layout / Template

I was searching for a Father's Day card inspiration and stumbled upon this AMAZING layout:

I figured that I could re-create it with alphas and items in freebie folders that I've accumulated and was able to make this:

MagsGraphics.com is now a REALITY!!! :)

Well, I've taken the plunge...! I've secured the domain and created my own website: http://www.magsgraphics.com/!!

It will house all of my digital tear bears and digital scrapbooking kits for sale as well as the custom photo momentos that I can create. I'm still adding merchandise, but I hope you will check it out! I'd appreciate any feedback you may have: comments, suggestions, critiques, errors, kudos, whatever! THX!

I'll still be posting my freebies here along with news of new tear bear items - I've just been concentrating on getting the new site up and working! Hope you understand!

FREEBIE - "Toad-ally Insane" Card Front

I found this graphic on the web - I have no idea where it came from... and if the artist ever wants me to remove this card, I most certainly will - but it made for the funniest "sympathy" card for my over-stressed Mommy-friends!

This is the finished card:

If you want to make your own, you can download the merged card front in .png format along with the .psp file with layers you can adjust, and the matted toad picture. You can print out the finished front and attach it to your card - OR - you can get fancy with the .pspimage and adjust the elements together for your own card.

The green ribbon was a blog freebie; I wish I had created it, but I haven't learned that yet! :)

That's right! My Shaggy Digital Tear Bears and Kits are available for commerical use! Both stores on Etsy and eCrater have been updated to reflect the new terms:

MagsGraphics Commercial Use Terms:

1. Images are sold in .png format and/or .jpg format and can be used with most digital scrapbooking or image-editing programs.

2. MagsGraphics digital scrapbooking kits, elements, and shaggy digital tear bears MAY be used in paper or digital LAYOUTS for resale. However, please DO NOT re-sell or re-distribute the kit, individual elements, or digital tear bears.

3. MagsGraphics digital images may be resized, colorized, slightly altered, or printed to fit your layouts or projects.

FREEBIE - "Stressed?!" Printable Card Front

This cat never fails to crack me up!

I found the basic graphic in the .net once and just loved it! It makes a great card to cheer up your friends! Click on the preview to view the full-size image. Right-click and save it to your HD. Then print out and adhere to the front of your card. You'll cheer someone up in no time!

FREEBIE - Star Wars-Themed Birthday Card Fronts

I have two sons who are obsessed with Star Wars. Many of their friends are as well so I've needed some Star Wars cards for various birthdays! I designed these card fronts using graphics from around the 'Net. Of course, all Star Wars images are ©George Lucas. These cards cannot be used for monetary gain, but you can sure have fun with them printing them out and adhering them to the front of your folded cardstock!

To save - click on the previews to view the full-size images. Then right-click on each and save to your harddrive.

FREEBIE TEMPLATE - 6-box Card Front

In the style of the Boy and Girl Baby Cards posted earlier, here is a template you can use to make your own 6-Box Cards! Follow this link to the .zip file which contains the template in .png format, .pspimage format, and .psd format.

To Use:
Open your graphics program (Photoshop, PSP, etc.).

Open a background. Copy it. Use your magic wand to select the dark gray card background. Paste into selection.

Open 3-6 images to use for the square boxes. Use your magic wand to select a box. Copy/Paste in the image, tube, dingbat, whatever that you want into each box. Repeat with the other boxes.

In the .pspimage and .psd formats, you should be able to resize the boxes or the bottom rectangle as needed. You can add text or patterns, drop shadows, or other embellishments.

Export as a .jpg file. Print off and affix to the front of your card (A folded half-sheet of 8.5"x11" cardstock) Viola! You've got a great card to send to someone!

A similar idea using only 4 boxes (a card made with paper - not digital - but you get the idea!):
