When you are ready to do some holiday shopping, I hope you'll stop by my stores. To celebrate one of my personal favorite holidays, I have a new kit for you: BLACK FRIDAY FRENZY!
Many, many years ago when "early bird" shopping meant 8AM at the malls, my Mom and I headed to our local shopping mall. While eating Cinnabon and waiting for the stores to open, we saw a lady RUN to the KBToy shop and rattle the closed gate. "DO YOU HAVE ANY HOLIDAY BARBIE?" she shouts. "NO!" comes a return yell from deep inside the store. The lady shakes her fists in the air and stomps off down the mall. "NO! HOLIDAY! BARBIE!!" she shrieks at every step. My Mom and I just laughed and laughed at the craziness of it all - and from that year on, we were hooked on shopping early.
We've watched the early opening time of stores go from 8AM to 4AM to midnight the night before. Now it's just as easy for Mom and me to shop online from the comfort of the sofa, but I do miss those early AM trips. If you love the fun (and chaos!) of Black Friday, you'll want this new set:
