Hey Scrappy Friends!
My fellow nerds know that TODAY is a very special day… it’s May 4th... which for Star Wars fans means you can be quite punny when you say, “May the Fourth Be With You!”
When I was 5 years old, my dad brought home two 4” action figures: an armored Stormtrooper and a black-caped villain called Darth Vader. Then he took my brother and me to the local movie theater to see Star Wars: A New Hope. That began a love of this intergalactic saga that has lasted over 40 years. When the original trio of movies were rereleased into theaters, my brother and I both returned home from college to go again with Dad - only this time, we could read the opening crawl by ourselves! Since then, we have returned to the theater with my family every time a new Star Wars movie is released; and my husband and I made sure to introduce this beloved series to our own kids. The Force is strong with our family!
My love of Star Wars has continued but has also expanded into other fandoms - Harry Potter, Outlander, Doctor Who, Twilight, and my all-time favorite: Buffy the Vampire Slayer (don’t laugh!😆). My entire office is decorated with shelves of fandoms - over 200 Funko Pops (some custom-made), 6” and 12” action figures, and several props and prop-replicas from my favorite shows. I have signed photos from celebrities I’ve met, and my kids have even created items for my Nerd Room / Craft Cave in the Computer-Aided Design classes they’ve taken in high school.
Of course, all of this means I need nerdy scrapbooking kits! I love to find ways to create scrapbooking art that will compliment my photos of props, figures, costumes, celebrity meet-&-greets, and our family trips to the Cincinnati Comic Expo each year. On this fabulously nerdy day, I have these new collections for you:
This ACROSS THE GALAXY collection is my homage to the series that has brought my family joy for over 4 decades, and it is one of today’s Deals! Within this BUNDLE, you’ll get the Main Kit, Alpha, Hodge Podge, Word Art, and BONUS Character Cards, and today it’s 50% OFF!!
